 If your considering
bringing a Golden Retriever into their family, Golden Creek Kennels is definitely
the place to go! I became acquainted with GCK when a friend adopted a golden gal
from Susan and Crawford Harb (owners and breeders). This dog was such a sweet and
loving cuddle bug, I decided that I had to have my very own Golden Creek golden.
It was a decision that I have not regretted and Ivory is now 15 months old and a
very goofy delight! Her temperament is so sweet and her intelligence just shines
through her eyes. People are often surprised at her age, because she is so calm
and behaves like a more mature pup. I believe that it is the excellent breeding program developed by Susan and Crawford, that has contributed to the high degree
of quality shown in my Ivory.
It is obvious that Golden Creek Kennel is much more than a business to the Harbs,
but more of a labor of love. Not only is the kennel itself fabulous, but the time,
energy and love that are invested in each and every little biscuit biter and their
new families is extraordinary.
Susan patiently answered my phone calls and E-mails and always in a timely fashion,
which is commendable given her full and hectic schedule.
Since I live in New York , I could not arrange my work schedule to be there on the
assigned day. However I conveyed to Susan the qualities that I was looking for in
my Ivory and Susan chose for me. When I finally was able to pick up Ivory I realized
that I couldnt have chosen better myself.
And I could not have chosen a better breeder than Susan and Crawford of Golden Creek Kennels.
I am now ready to bring a little GCK brother or sister home to share life with my
beautiful girl, Ivory.
