Herbie and son Harley | 
Herbie is our family dog, but I have a bond with him I never thought possible with any animal... of course, Herbie has NO idea he is an animal.... If you're old enough to remember the cartoon, it's like a different version of 'Professor Peabody and his boy Sherman' (Professor Peabody was the Dog).
Anyway, Herbie's sadist time is when he is alone.
Susan at Golden Creek Kennels got Herbie hooked up with Abbey, and a litter of beautiful puppies was born on June 5 (six days Before Herbie's first birthday). Golden Creek Kennels (google it) is the greatest place in the world to find almost any type or color Golden Retriever breed to have a wonderful disposition. They are the greatest dogs in the world.
Well, Meet Herbie's boy Harley. The newest member of our family was born on June 5, 2010 and his name is 'Herbie's Harley of Golden Creek'. You can see by the picture that Herbie is now on his second day with his new little boy. Bear Echols, Raleigh NC
